Tasha Tilberg was born in Chilliwack, B.C., and raised in Victoria, Canada. Growing up, Tasha never dreamt that one day she would become a top model. She recalls that there were never even any fashion magazines in her household. When Tasha was fourteen, one of her sisters suggested that she give modeling a try. She did, was signed by a local agency in Toronto, and has had a successful modeling career ever since. In Tasha has worked with many of the industries most reknown photographers; Richard Avedon, Steven Meisel, Peter Lindbergh, Paolo Roversi, Juergen Teller, Solve Sundsbo, Mikael Jansson, Dusan Reljin, Javier Valhonrat, Kate Orne and Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodth Matadin to name a few. Tasha appears regularly on the covers and inside pages of top fashion magazines including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, Glamour, America, Numero, Flair, Mix(te), Surface and V. Most recently, Tasha reinvented her look with a cutting edge haircut that resulted in an 18 Page story in W magazine with photographer Craig McDean. Since then, she has appeared on the cover of French Vogue photographed by Mario Testino, Japanese Vogue with Lachlan Bailey and Willy Vanderperre, and on the cover of Italian Marie Claire. Tasha has walked in runway shows for virtually every major designer in the industry, from New York, London to Paris. This past Spring/Summer 2006 season, Tasha was invited to strut the catwalk for top design houses such as Marc Jacobs, Marc by Marc, Badgley Mishka, Derek Lam, Matthew Williamson, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Alberta Ferretti, Max Mara, Pucci, Anna Molinari, Blumarine. Balenciaga, Givenchy, Ungaro, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Costume National, Dries Van Noten and Ann Deemeulmester. In addition, Tasha has starred in numerous advertising campaigns for the most prestigious designers including Gucci, Marc Jabobs, Louis Vuitton, Calvin Klein, Jill Sander, Anna Molinari, Kenneth Cole, Borbonese, Liz Claiborne, Ann Taylor, H&M, the Gap, as well as being the face of Cover Girl for multiple seasons. She can currently be seen in Chloe‘s Fall/Winter 2005 campaign, and will appear in the upcoming Spring/Summer 2006 campaign's for Kenzo with photographer Yelena Yemchuck and Lagerfeld Gallery shot by Karl Lagerfeld. Tasha currently divides her time living in various cities in Canada, Paris and New York City.
